If you must shorten his name– call him Leonardo. Referring to him as Da Vinci simply means “from te town of Vinci.”

You are probably very familiar with Leonardo. His “face” is well-known..or is it? I was not aware that the above image has been under dispute as to it’s subject’s indentity.
