Cupcake Cars Get More Sugar To The Gallon

I can’t even bring myself to ask, “What will they think of next?,” because I don’t even consider this “car” a “thought.”
I’m pretty sure my cupcake-crazy, pink-frosting addicted, 2 year-old Dinky-Diva niece would think this “cupcake car” is ridiculous.
I can hear it now, “Aunt Jenny, why that car a cupcake?” 50 times in a row.
What would I answer?
“Bunny, we live in a free society where people can creatively express themselves any way the wish. Yes, it IS ridiculous. Yes, anyone who buys this has too much money and are in a recession of common sense, but it’s a free country!”
And one more thing, it’s one thing to drive a cupcake car..but why the hats?
Cupcake Car: $25,000.
Cost?: Senseless
Put on your matching hat, slip under the muffin top of your Cupcake Car, and let the world figure itself out for awhile. Get (or give) the sheer, joyful chaos of a gift that is mind-blowing, triple-dog-dare, double-infinity forever cool. Make the kids or grandkids literally squeal with joy. Bring it to work and buzz the breakroom. Crash parades! Putter about the ‘hood. Ever had a crowd of kids chasing after you just for the crazy gleeful heck of it? (No worries, the top speed is a comfy-safe 7 mph.) What’s it made of? A 24-volt electric motor, a heavy-duty battery, sheet metal, wire, fabric, wood…and mad genius. Launched at Burning ManSM as a coöperative art car project, the Cupcake Car sprang from the fevered mind of Bay Area artist Lisa Pongrace and her less-rules-more-laughs posse of artists and techno geeks. Yours will be tricked out with your favorite topping, so start thinking flavors.

LOL! I guess a few people will buy enough Cupcake Cars for Lisa Pongrace and her less-rules-more-laughs posse to make a little bit of money. Plus they’ll be featured in fantastic blogs(like this one!) around the world and have one more claim to fame. The value to me is a really good laugh!
Can you believe it Aunt Jenny!
I want one.…will you design a fabulous hat for me??
Evette, I certainly will make you hat…but I get to take a picture and post it on our Facebook page
