Send Your Heart To Italy, Help L’Aquila Earthquake Survivors
As La Dolce Diva, I generally try to keep things upbeat and all about the Sweet Life.
But, L’ Aquila, a small historic, ancient town in Central Italy, approximately 60 miles outside of Rome, is now in ruins due to the devastating earthquake it suffered on Monday morning.
This disaster made me pause that, as a person who takes so much joy from the history and the people of Italy, I needed to reach out and help.
With at least 270 dead, 1500 injured and over 25,000 homeless, countless lives have been and will be touched by this tragedy.
In an effort to help, for the month of April, La Dolce Diva is donating 25% of all sales based on full retail value from our online store. Funds will be contributed to the Red Cross with the funds being directed to help with the relief of the earthquake victims in Italy.
