Mea culpa, mea maxima culpa..umm, I’m Sorry
How could I do this? How could I default on my own Diva Mantra? My own vow to enjoy the sweet life? With all the dire news about the economy, bail out, reformation, stimulus package..whatever… I could not get inspired to write anything lighthearted, fun or uplifting.
I varied from having all the hope in the world to wondering if all my belongings could fit in my car. The short answer to that is no. Well, then, Snap Out of It, I said to myself. Well, my Diva Mother said it to me, in a much nicer way, as mothers do.
So I am back! Instead of toiling over Diva bizness and surfing the Internet, watching CNN and spending time on Twitter, I spent Saturday morning with actual live people, my Dinky Diva niece, my sister and my brother-in-law. It wasn’t an excitement filled day. Just an ordinary one…We played outside for a bit, went to Target and then to a favorite bakery to get a chocolate cupcake for the Dinky Diva, where she quickly learned the word “Chocolate.” She is brilliant, we all agreed.
So sometimes, my darling Divas, we have to tune out the noise & tune in to our own life to find what is really important. It’s the little things…and chocolate.

You are so right on! Last weekend I tuned out the Net and everything else and hung out with family and friends. I had a lot to catch up on when I came back but it was a refreshing change that I really needed. Glad you’re back on the diva track!

Times are tough and tired and full of the unexplained (for now)….but the heart of my memory is so full of the wonderful times and loves of my life. I tend to be passive more often than not, that is the way I survive through the confusion of these times.
My children, especially my children, and their children are my joy, my passion and hope for the future. I smile everyday. I wake up grateful for my health, my job and a heart full of joyful memories and the the exciting, fun filled times to come.
At this moment in time I am on the more serious side of my Diva track but back on track just the same.

Sometimes I just need to step away from the computer and my workspace, and set aside all business-y economy-related thoughts (it’s challenging!).
I like to put in a nature video and enjoy a big donut and a glass of milk with my husband and Kitty (who happens to love donuts and milk). It’s really that simple.

I am so glad our Diva is back!!! It is better to look at all the positive things in our lives than to get caught up in all the negative news. Now, how about some wine and chocolates!!!
