Yes- it was YUMMY! Thanks, everyone, for taking the time to read and comment! I think we forget how really good ingredients can make a simple dish so delish! Yes, these pics were taken with my new Nikon camera in my very own cucina. I finished the "Shoot" at 11 AM and enjoyed the dish and the wine...it was 6 PM in Italy! Ciao, Ciao.

Jennifer, that was great. I can't wait to make it! Such great pix, from the new camera? Can't wait to see you on the 13th! If I wasn't eating Bolognese and pasta for breakfast, I would be hungry.

I share your passion for this simple, yet delectable dish. Funny, right before I read your post, I was eating grape tomatoes. We're out of the big toms, so I sliced these little guys lengthwise and added them to a sandwich. They have tons of flavor. I've never tried insalata caprese with grape tomatoes, but now I will. I love things in miniature.

Oh, olive oil, forget it, I think this is my most frequently used cooking ingredient outside of onions, garlic, tomatoes. I loved when I found out how good for you it is.

Yum, yum, and yum. Now I need to get some fresh basil and mozarella to add to the grape tomatoes. What a delicious post!
