Well, am I proud or not! At one point in my professional life I pursued my Diva shoe fetish and it has been reproduced (genetically) I assume, in my daughters and grand daughters.

I work in a big box store now and leopard print shoes are not excluded from the dress code... hmmmmmmmmm!

Laurie, Great tip about what is a TRUE outlet and what they call in the biz "SMU"- or special make-up for discount and has never seen a name brand store retail space.

Candance, We all dream of being Ginger! But there is really no depth there...isn't being a Mary-Ann more fun where we get to "Surprise" people with Divalicious version of ourselves every now and then?

Well, I don't have many D~Ds in my life. With 3 boys of my own, I have not had many opportunities to do the Diva thing. I like to refer to myself at times as a Domestic Diva, but I am a fairly simple "Mary-Ann" to be honest. I like to dream about being as fashionable as "Ginger" at times, but not so practical in my world. Now, if I had a little D~D of my own, that could change everything for sure!

Style/Budget tips to pass on for Diva Mommas and Dinky Divas alike: Paying retail is okay SOMETIMES. Mega-outlet malls suck these days. Off-5th--a true outlet where all the unwanted clothes from the Saks sales rack go to die--is the best place for a bargain. The one on Hilton Head Island is DEFINITELY worth a visit if you are down that way--much better than the Tangier mega-outlet off the main drag.

Well- honestly, I am sure my Dinky~Diva will take control of what she wants to wear soon enough. Right now she is just a dress-up doll. I have an older D.D.- who went through a phase, but at 11 is now back in the fold and loves to go shopping with Aunt Jenny. Don't worry- your time will come ;)

Jennifer,

How precious is Dinky~Diva and her PediPeds are adorable! I have "Dinky~Divas" in my life too. They are, however, on the opposite end of the spectrum. Kade and Kelby are down home country girls at heart who love to ride 4-wheelers, go fishing and hang out with their Daddy. They dress well but fashion has never been high on their list. I am sure when it comes time for boys to take interest in them, their fashion radar will appear. Any fashion tips they receive from the women in their lives is presently falling on deaf ears. Right now, they are focused on how much fun they have and how dirty they can get!

Loved your post!
